August 24th, 2023 Update: 

My studio is fully capable to start providing LIVE or pre-recorded weather forecasts for your television station. I'm looking forward to studying your DMA and working with you!

 

September 20th, 2023 Update:

I've already freelanced for one station, and have set up dates for another station. My availability is still quite open, so reach out quick before I get filled up!

January 7th, 2024 Update:

I've freelanced for three stations now, and am booking now through March. Reach out if your team is going to need some fill in help.

Freelance Meteorologist

  • From my in-home studio, I can provide live, accurate and fun forecasts for your station.

  • Your station will have to provide remote access to the weather computers so I can edit the graphics. This can be set up through the production/engineering staff using Splashtop, TeamViewer or VNC. 

  • I have advanced knowledge of Baron Lynx Products, and have experience with WSI products.

  • Your station will have to work with me to set up the live feed through Live-U, TVU or Dejero. 

  • Your station will have to work with me to set up a return feed through Dejero Control, TVU (Partyline), Live-U, or Skype. 

  • With so many meteorologist gaps in the news industry, I hope my services will help your current weather team in a pinch- whether that is before they become burnt out, maternity leave, sickness or other circumstances.

  • I am willing to do short or long term fill in work.

Freelance Video Editing

  • I can provide video editing services to you. I have experience in news editing, special reports, documentary work, short stories, and more.

  • I use Adobe Premiere to edit.  

  • Let me know your idea for a video and we can make it happen.

Marketing and PR

  • I have experience in marketing and public relations, and can provide my services to you.

  • I have managed several social media accounts with growing audiences, and have worked with a team on a campaign.
